The Surface Science Group in Poznań, Poland
The Group was established by Dr. Mikołaj Lewandowski for the realization of the research project's he is leading.
The research topics include structure, electronic, magnetic and catalytic properties of various nanostructures, such as metal nanoparticles and nanowires, oxide thin films and epitaxial graphene.
The experiments are performed in three surface science laboratories equipped with ultra-high vacuum chambers: two located at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and one at the Institute of Molecular Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
